Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry and head coach Steve Kerr have been fined $25,000 apiece by the NBA, for separate incidents that came during and after the team's Game 6 Finals loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.

Curry was fined for throwing his mouthguard into the stands in disgust, after being assessed his sixth personal foul with 4:22 remaining in regulation. It was the first time Curry had fouled out of a game on the season, and the rare outburst triggered the first ejection of his seven-year NBA career.

The mouthguard also struck a taunting courtside fan in the face, but the fan shrugged it off and said Curry was "good about it."

Kerr's fine, meanwhile came for his comments after the game, in which he defended his MVP point guard's actions and criticized the game's officials. Kerr called three of the six fouls on Curry "absolutely ridiculous," and said they were "incredibly inappropriate calls for anybody, much less the MVP of the league."
