Carolina Panthers teammates Greg Olsen and Ryan Kalil, as well as Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, recently went to see the Broadway hit musical "Hamilton."

"Hamilton" captured numerous Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Olsen spoke about enjoying something outside of football.

"It's nice to expose yourself to different things," Olsen said to ESPN's David Newton. "Listen, 90 percent of my life is football outside of your family and stuff. But there is something to be said for being well-versed in other things.

"It makes you more intelligent. It makes you more prepared to speak on things. It makes you more aware. There's a lot of very talented people in this world. And those guys we met were at the top of the list. Those guys are very unique people and I have a lot of respect for what they do."

There's been no word whether Griffin, who recently made a cameo appearance on "Broad City," will audition for a role in Lin-Manuel Miranda's next project.
