The Milwaukee Bucks selected Virginia's Malcolm Brogdon with the No. 36 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Brogdon knows what the stronger facets of his game are, and rarely, if ever, tries to play out of his comfort zone. He was an efficient scorer during his last year with the Cavaliers, shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from 3-point range, and 89.7 percent from the charity stripe.

His credentials also speak for themselves, being named a consensus first-team All-American selection, the ACC Player of the Year, and ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.

Brogdon is as safe a pick as it gets, doing enough things well offensively and defensively to warrant a role on any team. His lack of athleticism, paired with his age (23), keep him from being a can't-miss talent. There may not be a ton of upside, but that won't keep Brogdon from evolving into a dependable pro.
