Suns' T.J. Warren: Does some running Wednesday

Warren (foot) posted a video on his personal Instagram account Wednesday that showed him running on a treadmill. "First time running in 4 months. Blessing," Warren wrote in an accompanying caption.

Analysis:

Warren's second NBA season came to an end in early February, when he was diagnosed with a broken mid-right foot that required surgery. Though he's only recently started running, Warren is expected to be at full strength by the time training camp arrives. Warren was unable to permanently unseat P.J. Tucker as the Suns' starting small forward last season, but the 22-year-old should have a better chance at climbing up the depth chart in 2016-17. Prior to going down with the season-ending injury, Warren showed some growth as a scorer, averaging an impressive 11.0 points on 50.1 percent shooting from the floor in just 22.8 minutes per game.
