The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero are where Mike Conley wants to be this summer, and with a clean bill of health, securing a spot on Team USA becomes increasingly doable.

The 28-year-old point guard told the Memphis News' Ronald Tillery that he's completely healthy, and that he still hopes he can crack the final roster for the USA Men's Basketball team.

Conley sat the final 20 games of the 2016 regular season for the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as the team's first-round matchup against the San Antonio Spurs as he dealt with tendinitis in his left Achilles.

Even with both Chris Paul and Stephen Curry bowing out of consideration, the remaining point-guard crop vying to compete in Brazil remains strong, with Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, and Russell Westbrook all still in the mix.

In 56 appearances this past season, Conley averaged 15.3 points on 42.2 percent shooting, 6.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 31.4 minutes for the 42-40 Grizzlies. He will soon enter unrestricted free agency as one of the big prizes on the open market.

Basketball at the Rio Games will run from August 6-21.
