Wall wins NBA Cares Community Assist Award

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has earned the 2015-16 NBA Cares Community Assist Award for his charitable efforts and active work in the community this season.
Wall assisted with a number of charities throughout the year, providing help to homeless children through "Bright Beginnings Inc.," and attending the "Light the Night Walk" - an event hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Wall also funded the Passport to Manhood Program to educate young men about leadership and responsibility.
Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Andre Drummond, Damian Lillard, Mike Conley, Anthony Davis, Victor Oladipo, and Zach LaVine were the other finalists for the award.
Wall will be presented the award on Thursday.
