Kerr: Bogut needs to be smarter with fouls

While the recent struggles of Draymond Green and Stephen Curry have generated headlines, they aren't the only Warriors starters who have struggled to make their mark in the Western Conference Finals.

Andrew Bogut has been largely ineffective through the series' first four contests - a problem head coach Steve Kerr attributes to his lack of discipline defensively.

"He's fouling," Kerr told Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group. "He's got 13 fouls in 56 minutes. He's almost fouling out of every game in 10-15 minutes. He's got to be smarter with his fouls. We need him out there - he was plus-7 (Tuesday) night in 11 minutes."

With his minutes limited, Bogut has struggled to fill the stat sheet in the Western Conference finals. Through four games, the 7-foot Aussie is averaging just 3.9 points and 4.3 rebounds, while allowing the Thunder's Steven Adams to wreak havoc down low.

"When he's out there, we rebound better," Kerr added. "We've got a good passer out of the post. We want to play Bogut more, but he's got to stay on the floor."
