Draymond Green has used a boulder-sized chip on his shoulder as motivation for his march toward superstardom, but even people who are used to adversity sometimes crumble in the face of pressure.

Green, a second-round pick who's emerged as one of the most versatile players in the game, has made a career out of silencing doubters. In the aftermath of the worst game of his postseason career, however, Green responded with another dud in Game 4.

"I think this is the first time in my life that I didn't respond to critics," Green said after Tuesday's loss in Oklahoma City, which pushed the 73-win Golden State Warriors to the brink of elimination.

Added Green, who scored six points on 1-of-7 shooting: "I bring the energy to this team, and I have not been that. I think our energy goes as my energy goes, and I've been awful."

With Thunder fans heckling Green, who avoided suspension for his Game 3 kick to Steven Adams' groin, the Warriors big man recorded six turnovers and was a minus-30, two days after his historically bad minus-43 performance.
