Durant: I haven't even thought about impending free agency

The entire basketball world knew the question was coming after Kevin Durant's Oklahoma City Thunder blew a 3-1 series lead against the Golden State Warriors, and they likely knew the answer that was coming, too.
"We just lost like 30 minutes ago. I haven't even thought about it," Durant said Monday night after being asked about his impending free agency. "I'm just embracing my teammates and reflecting on this season. I'll think about that stuff - I don't know when - but we just lost an hour ago, 30 minutes ago, so I don't know."
Durant, who has spent eight of his nine professional seasons in OKC after the franchise moved there from Seattle in 2008, will become an unrestricted free agent come July.
The seven-time All-Star, four-time scoring champion, and 2014 NBA MVP managed to mostly avoid the hype and speculation that followed LeBron James ahead of his 2010 and 2014 free agency, but now that the Thunder's season has come to a disappointing end, Durant's future will come squarely into focus.
For the moment, Durant's focus remains on a special Thunder season, as OKC came oh-so-close to knocking off the 73-win Warriors in the West finals after eliminating the 67-win San Antonio Spurs in the conference semifinals.
Kevin Durant: We weren't supposed to be in this position. We faced two great teams. We showed we could play different ways.
