San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich tends to be frank and to the point in his interactions with the media, but following his team's 113-99 Game 6 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, he appeared more blunt than usual.

The Spurs clearly had aspirations beyond the second round of the NBA playoffs, especially after finishing the regular season with 67 victories. When asked to elaborate on his disappointment over being eliminated, Popovich gave a brutally truthful answer.

"Well everybody's disappointed," Popovich said. "The only team that's not disappointed is the last team standing. Everybody loses but one."

In terms of not playing a small-ball lineup earlier to combat the Thunder, Pop would prefer if everyone left the coaching decisions to him.

OKC out-rebounded San Antonio 50-40, with the frontcourt duo of Steven Adams and Serge Ibaka combining for 21 boards. One reporter made sure to point out that the Thunder consistently beat the Spurs to the glass.

Popovich agreed. Sarcastically, of course.

In a moment of sincerity, Pop gave credit to the Thunder for a job well done.

"I want to congratulate Billy [Donovan] and his coaches, the players, the organization from top to bottom," Popovich added. "Great series. Did a great job. I'm thrilled for them and going forward it will be a great Western Conference Final. Congratulations to the Thunder. They did a great job."
