Report: Wall may not be ready for Wizards camp

After undergoing minor surgeries on both knees, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is not expected to participate in the Olympics for Team USA this summer.

The Wizards expect Wall to be fully healed by the start of next season, but Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports that he may not be ready for the start of training camp in late September.

Wall, who had calcific deposits removed from his left patella tendon, also underwent an arthroscopic lavage to remove loose bodies from his right knee.

Despite the lingering knee issues, Wall played in 77 games this season, averaging career highs in points (19.9), rebounds (4.9), assists (10.2), and steals (1.9).
