Hawks' Dennis Schroder: Leading scorer in loss to Cavaliers

Schroder came off the bench to lead the Hawks with 21 points (10-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt) in addition to six assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block in 26 minutes during Sunday's 100-99 Game 4 loss to the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

Schroder assumed a larger role due to his success combined with the struggles of Jeff Teague, and it was Schroder who was stymied by LeBron James on a last-minute drive that could have given the Hawks the lead. The German point guard played more minutes than Teague twice in the series en route to averages of 15.3 points and 4.8 assists in just 20 minutes per game. Schroder could end up stepping into a larger role next season if the club elects to move Teague this summer.
