Trail Blazers' Maurice Harkless: Dealing with hip pain

Harkless struggled with right hip pain throughout Saturday's Game 3 win over the Warriors and only spent seven minutes on the court, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Harkless actually started Game 3 but was swiftly removed from the contest, which allowed Ed Davis to play 30 minutes. Apparently, Harkless suffered a bone bruise near his hip in Game 2, which went unreported, and served as the irritant for his pain Saturday. His status remains unclear for Game 4 on Monday.
