Wade got emotional learning he was Prince's favorite player
Dwyane Wade opened up Monday regarding what caused him to be overcome with emotion during the national anthem prior to Game 7 on Sunday.
The Miami Heat star was informed that Prince had said prior to his death that Wade was his favorite NBA player, which brought on some tears from the 12-time All-Star.

The interview had taken place in 2012, where Prince said that Wade was his favorite player, and the Oklahoma City Thunder were his favorite team.
