Curry upgraded to questionable for Game 4, could come off bench

On the same day it was reported Stephen Curry would soon be named NBA MVP for the second consecutive season, the league's scoring champion may also receive some good news on the injury front.
Curry has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Monday's Game 4 of the Golden State Warriors' second-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers, with head coach Steve Kerr saying a decision will be made later in the afternoon.
According to ESPN's Marc Spears, meanwhile, there is growing optimism Curry could return off the bench Monday.
Curry has been sidelined since suffering a sprained right MCL in Game 4 of Golden State's first-round series against the Houston Rockets. Monday marks the two-week point from when the Warriors initially ruled Curry out for at least two weeks, something general manager Bob Myers called "an educated guess" at the time.
Between an ankle injury early in the first round and the knee sprain Curry is currently recovering from, the reigning MVP has logged only 38 minutes over two games this postseason.
