Dwight Howard says Warriors 'get away with' physical play

The Houston Rockets are not happy about the officiating in their first-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors.

A number of Rockets players and coaches commented on the reigning champions' penchant for physical play ahead of Game 3 in Houston.

"They just get away with it," Dwight Howard flatly said of the Warriors' rough play. "I'm definitely not going to (get) away with doing stuff. So I've got to make sure I do it at the right times.

"Whatever they did we can't allow them to do it. If they push us in the back or hold our jerseys, we got to get them off, plain and simple," Howard continued.

James Harden, who pipped up about a lack of foul calls in Game 1, chimed in about the Warriors' propensity to set moving screens.

"If it's illegal then it's tough for anybody," Harden said of the difficulty of maneuvering around moving picks.

Interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff backed up his star players' remarks.

"You watch Andrew Bogut grab Dwight's jersey. You watch them push our guys in the back. Klay Thompson wants to get open for a shot, he two-hand shoves to get open."

The Rockets have been whistled for 62 fouls in their two losses against 46 calls for the Warriors.
