Kobe's teammates relive his 60-point finale

Even with a night to process the information, Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers teammates still can't comprehend what they witnessed Wednesday night at Staples Center.

Bryant scored 60 points on a career-high 50 shots during a 40-minute performance to end his 20-year career. He became the oldest player in NBA history to score 60 points in a single game, and capped off the Lakers' 101-96 win over the Utah Jazz by scoring 17 of Los Angeles' last 19 points.

Here's how Bryant's teammates remember the night:

Metta World Peace: He didn't start off hot. He looked like a bum. I thought it was over for him. Then he caught fire.

D'Angelo Russell: I felt like every shot went in.

Lou Williams: It was incredible to the point where it kind of scared me.

Anthony Brown: It was almost like I was dreaming.

Jordan Clarkson: I don't know if this is real right now.

Nick Young: He ended with an assist though. He should've ended it with a shot. That's not the Kobe I know.

Julius Randle: I really wanted him to score 100 points, but he was probably a little bit tired.

Ryan Kelly: It's exhausting. Taking 50 shots in the gym by yourself if you're moving a little bit, you'll be tired.

Marcelo Huertas: He could barely breathe in the fourth quarter.

Young: It seemed like it was made up. That's something you just see at the end of a movie.

Clarkson: It was like the best ending to a movie. And we saw it before it became a movie.

Brandon Bass: To end it that way, they don't make movies like that.
