Mavs' Nowitzki, Williams questionable for Game 3 vs. Thunder

The Dallas Mavericks' injury ward isn't getting any smaller, and word came Wednesday that both Dirk Nowitzki and Deron Williams are questionable for Thursday's Game 3 of their playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Nowitzki suffered a bone bruise in his right knee during Monday's Game 2, but played 38 minutes, scoring 17 points. Given their surprise victory in the game, and with the series now shifting to Dallas for two, it would likely require a severe injury to keep the Mavs' 37-year-old franchise player out of action.
Williams, meanwhile, has been dealing with a sports hernia that kept him out of the fourth quarter Monday. Possible good news for the Mavs is that J.J. Barea has been upgraded to doubtful after missing Game 2. The point guard injured his groin in Game 1.
Game 3 goes Thursday at the American Airlines Center with the series tied 1-1.
