Kerr to keep Warriors' minutes under 35, Bogut to sit vs. Grizzlies

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters he doesn't expect any key player to rack up more than 35 minutes Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies, regardless of the score.

Center Andrew Bogut will sit out the contest due to rest, but will feature in the lineup Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs.

The moves come in an attempt to balance his players' desire to break the NBA regular-season wins record while not exposing them to overexertion ahead of the playoffs.

While 35 minutes of the Warriors' starters is, on paper, enough to defeat a banged-up Grizzlies squad, Golden State also plays the second end of the back-to-back Sunday in San Antonio. The Warriors then return home to play the Grizzlies yet again in Wednesday's season finale.
