Popovich calls timeout 59 seconds into game vs. Warriors

It didn't take long for San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich to see something he didn't like against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

After "Splash Brother" Klay Thompson drilled an uncontested 3-pointer, Popovich called a timeout 59 seconds into the first quarter, as he was clearly unimpressed with Danny Green's defense.

Green left Thompson unmanned on the perimeter as he made his way toward the basket and a driving Stephen Curry. Having a 42.8 percent 3-point marksman as open as he was is a big no-no in Pop's books, and it was clear in San Antonio's huddle that the seventh-year guard was the target of his frustrations.
