NBA Game Summary - Golden State at Houston

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Stephen Curry scored 14 of his game-high 34 points in the fourth quarter to help the Golden State Warriors fend off the Houston Rockets, 98-87, to remain unbeaten on the season.

Curry made 13 of his 19 shots, including 6-of-9 from behind the arc, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out five assists for the Warriors, who are 5-0 for the first time since the 1994-95 season.

Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green added 15 and 14 points, respectively, while Andrew Bogut pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds and blocked four shots in the victory.

"We pushed the ball in transition. We got into a flow and got into what we were trying to do," Curry said.

James Harden had 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and Isaiah Canaan scored a career-high 21 points for the previously-unbeaten Rockets, who were missing three starters as they suffered their first setback of the season.

Terrence Jones (leg) missed his third straight game, Patrick Beverley (hamstring) has been held out of four of five and Dwight Howard was a late scratch with flu-like symptoms.

"Tonight was just a tough game in general missing three of our starters," Harden said.

The Warriors trailed by eight at halftime but came out of the locker room on a mission, scoring 22 of the first 26 points of the third quarter.

After Canaan's layup at 8:51 made it 60-56, Iguodala converted an alley- oop from Klay Thompson and Curry hit a triple to put the Warriors in front. Out of a timeout, Thompson went to the rim for a layup, Curry hit another three and Iguodala threw down another jam. Bogut added a reverse layup to make it 70-60 before Jason Terry's right wing 3-ball finally ended Houston's drought.

Golden State's seven-point lead after three quickly vanished, with a deep Canaan three tying the game at 80. It was 82-82 following Trevor Ariza's pull up when Curry took over. He sandwiched Bogut's layup with two difficult baskets for a six-point lead.

Out of a timeout, Curry hit a deep triple, finished a finger roll in traffic and put an exclamation mark on his night with a pull-up three with a minute to go.

Houston led 29-25 after one and 56-48 at intermission.
