VIDEO: Holm aiming for fall debut; says Rousey is 'beatable'
The recent addition of undefeated ace striker Holly Holm was a breath of fresh air for a relatively shallow UFC women's bantamweight division.
With a dearth of credible challengers ready to step up and face champion Ronda Rousey, Holm's dangerous stand-up adds a new dimension to what is essentially a one-woman weight class.
In an interview with Inside MMA, Holm, who broke her arm in her last fight, said she's aiming to make her UFC debut sometime in the fall.
"I know that the end of October, beginning of November is a pretty safe bet," Holm said. "You know, to give myself enough of a training camp. My arm feels great and everything's healing really well."
Holm, of course, has her sights set on Rousey, who she says is "beatable" just like anyone else.
"You know, Ronda's obviously the one to beat. She's the one that has the belt, and is she doing great? Absolutely," Holm said of the undefeated arm-collector. "I really admire her, she's really been cleaning up. She's got a lot of skill, and she's a big threat but everybody's also beatable. If I wouldn't want that fight, why would I be in this sport?"
