Fighter absolutely loses his mind after ref calls phantom tapout
Jorge Patino's 39th win was a memorable one for all the wrong reasons.
The veteran fighter was competing at a Battlefield Fighting Championships show in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday when he managed to secure an armlock on opponent Yousef Wehbe. With less than 30 seconds to go in the round, the referee jumped in to call the fight despite there being no clear indication that Wehbe had tapped out or verbally submitted.
Wehbe immediately shot up and proceeded to stomp around the ring, loudly cursing and protesting the odd stoppage.
"If you take this win as a win, that's f--king bulls--t, man!" Wehbe shouted at Patino as the official result was announced.
All Patino could do was stand there and awkwardly accept the win while Wehbe stomped off to the backstage area.
