Contrary to a rumor that the UFC's new owner, WME-IMG, isn't interested in keeping its flagship reality show, "The Ultimate Fighter" is expected to be back for a 25th season with a top-notch cast, according to MMAjunkie's Josh Morgan.
MMAjunkie confirmed that casting for the series, which will air in January, has already begun, and the promotion is targeting a group of UFC veterans, former TUF competitors, and other "all-stars" that will likely fight at welterweight.
UFC officials denied the report of the show being canceled, stating that they're proud to host the 25th season.
The 24th season is currently on the air, with the winner scheduled to get a shot at the flyweight championship against Demetrious Johnson in December.
