Report: McGregor's UFC 205 camp to be split between Ireland, Iceland

Conor McGregor's next training camp will be far cheaper than his last.

The Irishman will split his time between his home country and Iceland in preparation for his lightweight title bout with the reigning Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in November, according to FOX Sports' Damon Martin.

McGregor's last camp - during which he rented a Nevada mansion and enlisted a nutritionist and movement coach - set him back $300,000. "The Notorious" won't have to relocate his team to the desert this time around, since his dance with Alvarez will take place in New York City.

The featherweight king will presumably spend the majority of his camp in his native Dublin with trainer John Kavanagh. He'll likely devote his time in Iceland to grappling sessions with UFC welterweight and SBG stablemate Gunnar Nelson.

McGregor and Alvarez headline UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12.
