Seattle's Chad Marshall says he's doing well after scary training injury
Seattle Sounders center-back Chad Marshall took to Twitter and provided his followers with an injury update, saying he's had scans and is "doing alright" after being rushed to hospital with a head or neck injury during training on Wednesday.

Marshall took a hard fall during routine drills and did not immediately get back up, which produced some scary scenes, as team trainers propped his head and neck up and provided emergency medical attention.
The 31-year-old was then sent to hospital in an ambulance as his teammates, shaken by the ordeal, wished him well. It's not yet clear what Marshall is suffering from, but the 2014 MLS Defender of the Year has had concussion issues in the past.
Still, Marshall's back up and tweeting, which is a good sign. The Sounders are expected to provide a more comprehensive update in the days to come.
