Gregory Polanco found himself on the wrong side of the highlight reel in May when he tripped in the outfield at Wrigley Field and helped the Chicago Cubs to a walk-off win.
In Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Polanco exacted a measure of revenge at the expense of the Pirates' division rival.
With his team protecting a 4-1 lead in the fifth inning, Polanco corralled a hard-hit ball in right field from Cubs pitcher Trevor Cahill and fired a perfect strike to first base for the rare 9-3 putout.

The Cubs later rallied for three in the seventh before Pittsburgh scored the game-winning run in the eighth to secure the 5-4 win in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
