Alex Rodriguez wasn't kidding in spring training when he admitted his days of speed are behind him.
While the New York Yankees slugger has seen a decline in his motor, due partly to his 39-year-old surgically repaired hips, that hasn't stopped him from making plays, no matter how unorthodox they may appear.
Standing on first with two outs in the first inning Thursday, A-Rod raced around the bases to score on a Chase Headley double, crossing home plate in hilarious fashion.
