The 2015-16 international signing period officially opens Thursday, and some of the top prospects are reportedly being inked to deals.
Here's a look at the top five players on the board and their potential deals, according to MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez.

Yadier Alvarez | P | Cuba | Dodgers | $16 million |
Lucius Fox | SS | Bahamas | Giants | $6 million |
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. | OF | Dominican Republic | Blue Jays | $4.1 million |

Clubs will begin confirming signings as early as Thursday afternoon.
The Dodgers appear to be significantly improving their farm system with the additions of Alvarez and Heredia, and are also affiliated with shortstop Ronny Brito, the 22nd-ranked international prospect by MLB.com.
An international player can sign with an MLB team between July 2 through June 15 of next year if the prospect turns 17 before Sept. 1 of this year, or by the completion of his first season in the minors. Each club has a $2.9-million limit to spend on the international market during this signing period, and teams that exceed that limit are subject to penalties in the form of tax and/or restrictions in future signing periods.
