Murphy's 3-run homer lifts Mets to come-from-behind win
The New York Mets moved quickly to put their Bronx struggles behind them. Really quickly.
Daniel Murphy hit a three-run homer in the ninth, Dillon Gee pitched 7 2/3 innings of one-run ball, and the Mets edged Miami, 3-1, in under two hours at Marlins Park on Monday.

The Mets, who dropped two of three to the Yankees over the weekend, returned to their winning ways by improving to a league-best 15-5 in a game that lasted just one hour, 58 minutes. New York, which has now won 14 of 17 against NL East opponents, is 5-0 versus the Marlins this season.
Gee was extremely efficient in his second strong start in a row, needing only 70 pitches to get 23 outs. He struck out three and walked none before handing the ball over to the Mets' bullpen trailing 1-0.
Mets reliever Carlos Torres pitched Gee out of an eighth-inning jam to set the stage for Murphy, who entered the game hitting .169 with one homer.
The Mets second baseman connected on a 1-1 fastball from Marlins closer Steve Cishek with two on and one out in the ninth to secure the dramatic come-from-behind win.
