Mets' Syndergaard rips fan on Twitter after being criticized for missing start

New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard unleashed a heater Friday at one of his critics after the fan took issue with the young right-hander missing his scheduled start due to illness.
Syndergaard, who was scratched from Friday's outing at Triple-A Las Vegas because he's sick, responded with fury to a tweet by @Mets24seven that apparently said the top prospect was soft.
