Ryan Webb released by Dodgers, signs with Indians

It didn't take long for Ryan Webb to find a new home.
The right-hander, who was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, signed with the Cleveland Indians hours later. He'll report to Triple-A Columbus.
Los Angeles, on the hook for Webb's $2.75-million salary, acquired him Thursday in a four-player deal with the Baltimore Orioles.
Webb spent the 2014 season with the Orioles, but failed to make the team's Opening Day roster and was designated for assignment.
A ground-ball machine, Webb enjoyed the best season of his career in 2013 when he recorded a 2.91 ERA over a personal-best 66 appearances with the Miami Marlins.
