The San Francisco Giants manager, however, didn't make it easy on his son, who was making his big-league debut, handing him the ball in a bases-loaded jam. Brett proceeded to walk Juan Uribe which allowed Joc Pederson to score to make it 15-0 Dodgers, but then settled in to get A.J. Ellis on a pop out.
Brett Bochy was then touched up for a two-run homer by Scott Van Slyke in the seventh inning, but also recorded his first career strikeout against a formidable foe.
