Twins trade Kendrys Morales to Mariners

The Kendrys Morales era in Minnesota is over. 

The Seattle Mariners officially announced the acquisition of Morales from the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon. Stephen Pryor, a 25-year-old right-hander, is headed to the Twins in exchange. 

Morales signed with the Twins in early June, after playing last season with the Mariners. The 31-year-old first baseman took a while to get back into game speed with the Twins, hitting .234/.259/.325 in 39 games.
