The Minnesota Twins are 10.5 games back of the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central heading into play Wednesday night and FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports a fire sale may be on the horizon.
Kendrys Morales 12-game hitting streak, but OPS still only at .599. #Twins open to trading him, along with other potential free agents…

…Willingham, Correia, Suzuki. #Twins may keep trying to sign Suzuki. Few contenders have a need at catcher (#STLCards expect Molina back).

Morales signed a one-year deal as a free agent in early June and has been a disappointment through 39 games. The 31-year-old is hitting just .234 with one home run and has a horrible track record in the postseason. Morales' .191 average in 47 career playoff at-bats is hardly attractive to contending teams.
Teams looking for a power bat may be interested in Josh Willingham, who has nine homers to his credit in 53 games. The 35-year-old, however, has never swung the bat in the postseason in his career.
Kevin Correia, a veteran right-hander, offers contending teams a back-end rotation piece but probably won't yield a high return.
Suzuki, who was named an All-Star for the first time in his career, is by far the most attractive trade chip the Twins have to offer. His .312 batting average and 40 RBIs would certainly help teams thin at the catcher position such as the Baltimore Orioles.
The non-waiver trade deadline is July 31.
