Pirates' Starling Marte: Season still in question
Marte (back) says he's dealing less with spasms and more tightness. "Random movements can cause sort of a tightness. It's something we are trying to figure out," Marte told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "It just kind of comes and goes. The majority of times it is tightness but there are some moments where it becomes painful."
Analysis:
The outfielder is unsure whether the injury might linger. "At this moment I cannot say when I think things will get better," Marte said. "I think, so far, things are moving quickly and I am feeling much better." Marte has played more than 135 games just once since becoming a regular in 2013.
