Angels' Jett Bandy: Leaves Wednesday's game with hamstring cramp
Bandy exited Wednesday's game with a hamstring cramp, but the ailment is believed to be minor, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
Carlos Perez came on to pinch run for Bandy after his single off Matt Bush in the top of the eighth Wednesday against the Rangers. The Angels have the day off Thursday before opening a weekend series against the Astros, so Bandy should have enough time for his cramping to subside before they return to action. Still, Bandy is on the small side of a platoon with Perez and will likely be limited to one-to-two starts per week while Giovany Soto (knee) is sidelined.
