Rockies' Boone Logan: Headed to DL with shoulder inflammation
Logan was placed on the disabled list due to left shoulder inflammation, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports reports.
Analysis:
It's uncertain when exactly the injury occurred, but it couldn't have come at a worse time for Logan. The left-hander was pitching extremely well, not allowing a run and posting a 10.1 K/9 since April 10. There's currently no timetable for his return, but that should become clearer once the severity of his ailment is known.
