VIDEO: Gomez dabs while wearing Panthers helmet

Cam Newton has a fan in Carlos Gomez.

It's difficult to ignore the similarities between the two players. Both are outspoken, hard-nosed stars that players love having on their team, and hate playing against.

On Monday, Gomez did his postgame interview while wearing a Carolina Panthers helmet. When asked why, he had nothing but praise for the Panthers and their quarterback.

"It's my favorite team, and my favorite player, Cam Newton. That's why I wear the helmet, and dab like he does," Gomez said as he dabbed to reporters. "He's the best player in football, MVP. It is what it is."

Let's just hope Newton doesn't imitate Gomez, or else both sidelines will be on the field in a hurry.
