The Braves have won four of their last six road contests after winning just twice in their previous 12 away from home. Atlanta has lost nine of its last 12 meetings with San Francisco.

The Giants are 11-2 since May 15 -- the best record in the majors in that span. San Francisco is outscoring its opponents 13-2 during its current four-game home winning streak.

Cameron Maybin homered for the Braves on Wednesday after the team had failed to hit a home run in the previous nine contests. Maybin, who is hitting .381 in his last six road games, is batting .205 in his career against San Francisco -- the second-lowest batting average in his career against any opponent (minimum 20 games).

Chris Heston is 2-0 in his last three outings, despite posting a gaudy 6.48 ERA in those starts. Heston (1-2 with a 2.77 ERA in four starts at AT&T Park this season) is one of five San Francisco pitchers with at least four wins in 2015 -- most of any team in the majors.

Nori Aoki went 2-for-5 against the Brewers yesterday, and is now batting .571 during his current five-game hitting streak. Aoki has strung together four straight multi-hit games -- the longest active streak in the majors, and the longest streak by any Giant this season.

Atlanta has won four straight and eight of Shelby Miller's nine starts in 2015. Miller, who is 2-0 with a 1.46 ERA in two career starts against the Giants, has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his nine starts this season.
