Tampa Bay lost, 4-2, to the Orioles at Tropicana Field on Sunday, falling to 2-4 in their last six games overall. The Rays have just one homer and haven't scored more than three runs in any of their last six contests.

Including an 8-5 setback last night, Boston was swept three straight by the Yankees at Fenway Park over the weekend. Dating to August 17 last season, the Red Sox are now just 11-22 (.333) in its last 33 home games -- the worst home mark of any team in the majors during that span.

Tampa Bay took two of three from the Sox in these teams' first series of the season at Tropicana Field (April 21-23). Boston is 5-1 in its last six home games against the Rays, outscoring them by a combined 38-13 in those contests.

Jake Odorizzi allowed four runs (all earned) in 6.1 innings last Tuesday in the Bronx, taking the loss and dropping to 0-2 with a 5.11 ERA in two starts against the Yankees this season (2-0 with a 0.84 ERA vs. all others in 2015). Odorizzi is 0-2 with an 8.25 ERA in three career starts against the Sox at Fenway Park.

Clay Buchholz lasted just 2.2 innings and allowed five runs (four earned) last Tuesday vs. the Blue Jays, and including that setback, is 0-3 with an 8.00 ERA in his last four outings. Buchholz is 3-1 with a 1.51 ERA and one complete game in his last five starts vs. the Rays.

Pablo Sandoval went 5-for-12 over the weekend vs. the Yankees, improving his batting average to .326 on the season. Sandoval is hitting just .125 (3-for-24) in six career games against Tampa Bay.

Asdrubal Cabrera went 3-for-8 (.375) vs. the Sox in these clubs' first series of 2015. Cabrera is batting just .175 against all other opponents this season.
