American League Game Summary - Cleveland at Chicago

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Conor Gillaspie went 2-for-3 with four RBI to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 9-6 win over the Cleveland Indians in the second installment of a four-game set.

Adam Eaton was 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored and Adam Dunn added two hits, an RBI and two runs scored for the White Sox, who improved to 4-1 at home this season.

Chris Sale (3-0) earned the win after allowing three runs on six hits while fanning five over five innings.

"Guys are seeing pitches and playing good defense behind (Sale), trying to put the best out there and you know good things are going to happen," Eaton said.

Asdrubal Cabrera drove in two runs while Nick Swisher, Ryan Raburn and Michael Brantley drove in one run apiece for the Indians, losers in three straight.

Carlos Carrasco (0-2) allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five over 4 2/3 innings.

Cleveland plated three runs in the fifth to tie the game. With runners on second and third and no outs, Cabrera laced a line drive to left to score Mike Aviles and Elliot Johnson.

Swisher followed with a single to score Cabrera to knot things up at 3-3.

"When you score and tie it up, you gotta go back out and kind of take charge of the game and they just kept scoring every inning," Indians manager Terry Francona remarked.

The White Sox scored a pair in the home half to take a 5-3 lead. After Eaton and Marcus Semien worked back-to-back walks, Gillaspie singled home Eaton. Later in the inning, Dunn walked to load the bases before Dayan Viciedo drew a walk to force home Semien.

Brantley scored on a Gillaspie fielding error in the sixth, but Gillaspie made up for the gaffe in the home half with a two-run double to left for a 7-4 edge.

Cleveland scored one more in the seventh when Brantley blooped an RBI single to left to bring home Santana, pulling the Tribe within two runs. Alexei Ramirez, however, scored Dunn with a single to shallow right field in the bottom of the frame.

In the eighth, Dunn drew a bases loaded walk to plate Eaton.

Raburn's base hit with two outs in the ninth scored Santana to cap the scoring.

Chicago scored two in the third and one in the fourth to take an early 3-0 lead. With two on and no outs, Eaton smacked a double to right to score Ramirez. After Semien struck out, Gillaspie lifted a sacrifice fly to center to bring Tyler Flowers home.

Alejandro De Aza's RBI single in the fourth scored Dunn to give the hosts a three-run advantage.
