Malaga 'keeper Kameni out following knee surgery
Malaga's first-choice shot-stopper Carlos Kameni has been ruled out for an undisclosed period after a successful operation to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Kameni, 32, was subbed off in the 37th minute of Saturday's 3-3 draw with Deportivo La Coruna after injuring himself in a goalmouth scramble. He will now miss an extended spell recovering from the injury, though the club did not disclose the time frame for his return.
It is expected that he'll miss at least six months.

The news is a setback for both the southern Spanish side and Cameroon, as the 71-time capped 'keeper will now miss the country's AFCON qualifier versus South Africa in late March.
Formerly at Espanyol, Kameni had started all 28 of Malaga's La Liga matches this year, and his injury will provide an opportunity for Mexican international Guillermo Ochoa to again play first-team football.
