Barcelona signs Borja Lopez to Barca B from Monaco
Barcelona continues to spend in the January transfer window following the end of its FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
On Saturday, Barcelona signed Borja Lopez from AS Monaco, signing the 21-year-old centre-back to Barca B, its reserve team, on a contract through June 30, 2018.

Lopez is a product of Sporting de Gijon's academy and spent the first half this season at Portugese club Arouca, on loan from Monaco. He has been capped for Spain's national team at the under-18 level, U19 level, and U20 level.
Upon joining Barca B, Lopez took to Twitter, writing: "Very happy to be part of this great club. I'm raring to start and train with my teammates of the B team."
