Lionel Messi seems to have lost his mind.

During Barcelona's Joan Gamper Trophy friendly against Roma on Wednesday, the pint-sized goal machine momentarily lost his cool, headbutting Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa in the sternum before attempting to choke him with his left hand.

Messi was then shown a yellow card by the official - which in itself is puzzling considering the severity of his actions - before scoring in the 41st minute to put the Catalans up 2-0 at the half.
