Cristiano Ronaldo buys his agent an island as a wedding gift

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo didn't really look at the registry list when shopping for a wedding present for his agent, Jorge Mendes. Instead, Ronaldo, the best man of the occasion, gave the greatest gift a best man can give: an entire island.

That's right, Ronaldo gave the newlywed couple a Greek island valued at anywhere from £5 million to £50 million, a rate made much more affordable by the Greek economic crisis.

The Greek government put a number of islands up for sale in recent weeks, but the exact location of Ronaldo's hasn't been made clear.

Sure, Ronaldo can easily afford it, but it's still a massive gesture for his long-time friend and agent, and it's a gift that earns Ronaldo the "best' in best man quite definitively.
