In news that will feel eerily familiar to Germany and Real Madrid supporters, Sami Khedira is injured. Again.

Khedira suffered the injury while preparing for Germany's upcoming fixtures, which include a friendly and rematch of the World Cup final against Argentina on Wednesday as well as the first match of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign versus Scotland on Sunday.
The injury is particularly concerning given Khedira's recent history. After tearing both his ACL and MCL during a friendly against Italy in November, the 27-year-old defensive midfielder faced a race against the clock to be fit for the World Cup.
Things worked out that time around as Khedira was able to feature in five of Germany's seven matches in Brazil, but this latest injury blow is obviously a frustrating way for Germany to kick off their journey to Euro 2016.
