Falcao to miss Manchester United's final game with training injury
Radamel Falcao has likely played his final game for Manchester United after being forced to miss the club's last match of the season because of a training injury.
Louis van Gaal confirmed the news shortly before United's season finale against Hull City, but did not specify the exact nature of the injury.
Falcao likely accepted that his career in Manchester had come to an end when the team played their final home match and the striker waved goodbye to supporters when he was substituted out of the fixture.
He's been bitterly disappointing since his loan move from AS Monaco last summer. The Colombian has only managed to record four goals in 26 appearances and has failed to find the back of the net since scoring against Leicester City on Jan. 31.
A move back to Monaco could entice Falcao after the club secured a qualifying spot in the Champions League. However, there are likely teams throughout Europe that believe they can procure his services at a reduced cost after his train wreck of a season in England.
