PHOTO: Cambridge captain Tom Champion gets United shirt despite no-swap order
Cambridge United enjoyed one of the most memorable nights in their existence on Friday, earning an FA Cup replay at Old Trafford after holding Manchester United to a 0-0 draw in their fourth round match at the Abbey Stadium.
Captain Tom Champion enjoyed a particularly good evening.
The midfielder, along with his teammates, was warned before the match by manager Richard Money that any player who swapped shirts with their more famous counterparts after the final whistle on Friday would have to pay £40 to replace their own kit.
"We're not wealthy enough to give any of our shirts away. If they give their shirt away they're going to have to replace it," the ironically named manager said.
Somehow, Champion managed to circumvent the order.

A match at Old Trafford, a game-worn Michael Carrick shirt and not having to dish out cash for a new jersey of your own. That's a pretty solid night.
