Andre Schurrle: Could Miss Monday's Match

Schurrle is expected to be held out of Chelsea's Premier League opener Monday against Burnley, ESPN FC reports.

Analysis:

Schurrle was with Germany as they hoisted the World Cup and he has only recently returned to training. He isn't likely a regular starter for manager Jose Mourinho anyway, although he has shown an ability to produce off the bench. It just won't happen until Gameweek 2 at the earliest.
